Hydrodemolition
Hydrodemolition is a process that utilizes high pressure water for the removal
of sound or deteriorated concrete.
Using automated equipment, concrete can be blasted away leaving a clean and
sound substrate for resurfacing. This process is completed without damage to
rebar or adjacent areas of concrete.
Applications for Hydrodemolition or scarification are:
- Bridge Deck Repair
- Expansion Joint Removal
- Selective Concrete Structure Demolition
- Removal of Chemically Deteriorated Surfaces
Hydro Mechanical is equipped to perform scarification of horizontal or
vertical surfaces in preparation for resurfacing, and partial or full
depth removal of concrete bridge decks or other structures requiring
repair.
